Beach Runner is a free browser-based game. We do not run servers that collect your personal information. Your gameplay data stays on your own device and is never sent to us.

This policy explains what little data is involved when you play, where it lives, and what third-party services (Google AdSense, Google Fonts) may collect on their own behalf.

The Game uses your browser's localStorage API to save game state between sessions. Local progress stays on your device. If you choose to submit a world record, your email address, masked email display, score, gold, level, difficulty, lives, and update time are sent to your Cloudflare Worker leaderboard API.

To keep the Game free and functional, we load resources from external providers. Each operates under its own privacy policy, independent of ours.

Beach Runner itself sets no cookies. However, Google AdSense may set cookies on your device for the purposes of:

• Frequency capping (limiting how often you see the same ad)
• Personalising ads based on your browsing history
• Fraud prevention and security
• Measuring ad performance and attribution

You can manage or delete cookies via your browser settings. Opting out of personalised ads will not remove ads from the Game, but ads shown will be generic rather than interest-based.

Beach Runner does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The world record email field is optional and should not be used by children without parent or guardian permission.

However, Google AdSense may serve ads based on contextual or non-personalised signals when it detects a younger audience. We encourage parents and guardians to review Google's Family Link and related tools for additional controls.

Because we collect no personal data on our servers, most traditional data-subject rights (access, erasure, portability) apply to the third-party providers rather than to us directly.

For your local game data, you are always in full control:

• View: Open browser DevTools → Application → Local Storage to inspect stored values
• Delete: Use the in-game 🗑 Reset Progress button in the developer panel, or clear site data from your browser settings
• Export: Copy localStorage values manually via DevTools if you wish to back them up

For Google AdSense data, submit requests directly to Google at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Since we have no way to contact you directly (we don't collect email addresses or accounts), please check back periodically if you'd like to stay informed. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
